Celtics are world champs!!!!

In my opinion Kevin Garnett had a hell of a night. The guy was a beast from everywhere on the floor, shooting raindrops all day. Post-game, you could really see how much this meant to him and the Celtics. Hell, he cried on national TV.

The game as a whole was fun to watch. Lots of energy coming from the Celts and the crowd was LOOOUUUDDD. Too loud to watch TV at a normal level, i had to turn the volume down a bit. The whole time you could see how much the Celts wanted it, Rondo was everywhere up and down the floor constantly and had some spectacular steals. Ray Allen drained 3's from downtown like it was his job (oh wait..hmm). And Paul Pierce, who did not have a spectacular game, easily deserved this the most. After spending 10 long years carrying this team, he finally was able to bring Boston a championship.

Overall, it was a pretty well matched series, but one thing can be summed up for the Lakers:

Kobe + no defense ≠ championship

Congrats Boston on a great season, and great Finals performance, you guys deserved it.

hello life..

so i'm now officially on a roll. this has been the most consistent i've ever been blog wise. arent you pround of me?

since my last blog before last nights, i have finished junior year of high school. it wasnt as bad as people has always said it would be, "junior year is the hardest", "junior year is the worst". i thought it was great actually. i continued practicing my slacking ways, doing my best to do the least amount of work possible, but still get good grades. i also think that this year i connected with my friends on a deeper level (how gay does that sound?). we definitely got to know each other more and become closer. also i made a lot of new friends and got to know them better than i had in the past. i'd like to think that this year was pretty big on personal growth, i liked it.

now on to running for the year. i had a pretty good XC season, coming on at the right time and all, so that was pretty successful. then winter was ok running a lot of 800s on our 4x800 relay, ran a nice pr of 2:03. i was happy with that. then spring sucked dick. i really barely did anything very productive. i pr'ed in the two mile and steeple but not by as much as i would've liked. whatever thats over, time for summer training i guess.

so thats been pretty much it from then to now, exciting right? there were definitely exciting things along the way, i'll share as i think of them. today i pretty much chilled then ran for aboot 25 mins. yesterday after my run i had to do a weight workout and basically today my triceps are so sore i can barely lift my arms. it sucks, washing my hair and putting on a shirt are posssibly the most excruciating things ive had to do today, yeah its that bad. alright thats that. im out, be good.

p.s. shamrock learned how to read!!
